16 May 2013 signed up for us in history for sure. This year Japanese terriers after 13 years of break (last time on the WDS they were shown 2000 in Milano) were shown on World Dog Show, which was held in Budapest this year.
We could see three Japanese terriers: Amakakeru-Meiji White Oleander, Byakuya-Meiji White Oleander (ow. Paweł Gąsiorski) and Byakuren-Meiji White Oleander (ow. Maria Nordin, Matthias Hessel). The judge was Jaroslav Kubala from Slovakia.
Keru presented as the first one and won in the Champion Class the World Winner title, he walked also excellent in the ring. In the Junior Class we could see in the ring Lisa (Byakuren-Meiji White Oleander) and Bayka (Byakuya-Meiji White Oleander). Lisa was presented to the judge in the hands of Maria Nordin. The next one was Bayka, she was better this day and won Junior World Winner.
The day before Bayka and Keru presented very well and were judged during CACIB Budapest by Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen from Finnland and thanks to the winnings on WDS they both got Hungarian Champion titles.
